eggs. We didn’t stop there. We decided to get a dairy goat so we could produce our own milk free of hormones and the unwanted side effects of chemical treatments. From there we started making our own body products, made with pure ingredients that are beneficial to our skin.
We’ve had the pleasure of owning a goat farm for over 18 years and
have been making goat milk soap for over 10 years. We never use water in soap just pure milk with pure oils. Milk has the natural
ability to moisturize, nourish and retain its goodness in your skin. Milk is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. It’s important to us what ingredients go into our products and our goats. We feed our goats’ certified Non-GMO grains. All our soaps and body products are made with Non-GMO oils to moisturize and cleanse. We choose oils that are very mild for your skin. Milk-based soaps are among the most luxurious soaps you will ever use.
Our farm is located in Williamsport, Ohio in Pickaway county. We started our business 2003
We started our business by accident. We wanted to raise our own chicken for fresh, free-range eggs and decided to get a milk goat for fresh whole milk. With all the extra milk we decided to make our own body products with pure healthy ingredients. Since chickens started it all and with a last name like Mash that’s how we became Chickenmash Farm.
We use an old fashion soap process called cold process. We use lye in our soap to produce a hard bar of soap. There is no lye in the finished product. We have a long cure time that allows the lye to cure out of the soap and produces a hard bar that lasts a long time. We researched and made soap for almost two years before we sold that first bar. We developed our own recipes and used it ourselves and on friends and family before selling that first bar.
